The 2017 tour of Navajoland marked the 39th year of the popular Navajoland Tours that we host each September. While our numbers were down a bit this year, the excitement and good fellowship we enjoyed throughout the week was awesome and filled with many blessings. It is such a joy to welcome friends from across the nation to these tours each year. Even though the sites we see are the same each year, every tour is different because of the weather and the wide variety of wonderful guests who join us each year. We did have some occasional rain, but those clouds made for beautiful sunsets. Devotions at the Grand Canyon as the sun set was very special again with a brief appearance of a rainbow.
I hope you will consider joining us on the tour. You will meet other folks from across the nation who want to enjoy the scenery, learn more about the Navajo people and spend some time at Navajo Ministries touring the campus and even eating a meal with our precious children who live here at the Four Corners Home for Children. You will also be moved with the dramatic testimony of Joe and Gerri Begay as they share how God delivered them from alcohol addiction and abuse. They are pastors of a growing church in Chinle, Arizona on the Navajo Nation. In Window Rock you will see the Navajo Code Talker Monument and take a tour of the Navajo Nation headquarters. This year we were able to meet the Vice President, too. There are lots of reasons to join us for the next tour. Join us for the next one.
