KNMI Vertical Radio is an outreach of Navajo Ministries. Vertical Radio’s first broadcast was on March 6, 1980, becoming the first Christian radio station in the Four Corners.
Vertical Radio features a Christian Hit music format and is connected to our communities with a dedicated local staff. As a regional radio station, the Vertical signal is heard throughout the Four Corners region including translators in Southwestern Colorado.
Listeners from all over the world are also able to tune in to Vertical’s fresh, cutting-edge sound by logging on to www.VerticalRadio.org
KNMI Vertical Radio is a non-commercial, community-supported station that provides positive programming for the entire family. An annual pledge drive secures monthly commitments from listeners. In addition, the station broadcasts high school sports on the Game of the Week, and is the official broadcast home of the annual Connie Mack World Series, held each August.
Businesses and churches provide grants that are recognized by on-air spots, which feature information or services offered by that particular sponsor.
