MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT
The Love of God
“Love” is casually expressed every day in the English language. We love our spouses, our children, our friends and extended family. We also love ice cream, pets, movies, the weather and a favorite book. The word “love” is so freely spoken in our culture, that we sometimes lose the true meaning of the love Christ has for us – a sacrificial giving of Himself. The world knows little of sacrificial love.
But Christ gives us an example of God’s love in John 3:16. God gave His Son so we can spend eternity with Him. God’s love is totally sacrificial and committed to our well-being. Experiencing this love of God should lead us to express brotherly love to others, being kindly affectionate to one another and in honor giving preference to one another. (Romans 12:10)
Taking time to pray for the needs of Navajo Ministries is a sacrifice of your time. Are there other ways God is leading you to show love sacrificially? He is willing to teach you and provide opportunities, if you desire to share real love with others. God Bless you,
Kay Baker
